Some homes wear their character on the outside. This one certainly did — a commanding chateau-style estate on a private riverside lot, with an exterior presence that set expectations high. The interior, however, told a different story. Bold, avant-garde design choices that hadn't aged gracefully left every room feeling disconnected from the home's natural elegance and its setting.

The opportunity was clear: restore the conversation between this home and the life it was meant to support.

Our extrodinary project team undertook a comprehensive transformation of the main living spaces — entrance, kitchen, dining room, living room, pantry, laundry, powder room, and primary ensuite. No surface was left untouched. Coffered ceilings, arched doorways, full-height cabinetry, natural stone, and colour-drenched bathrooms were woven together with intention — each space distinct, yet unmistakably part of the same home.

The result is a balance of traditional warmth and elevated contemporary design that finally lives up to its address.
